Teachers should carry guns. Think about how long it takes for cops to get there if something happens. There are so many school shootings nowadays, it would just make me feel safer if my teacher could protect us.

Before we all attack this police officer for punching a boy, we should hear both sides of the story. What if the kid had a gun? Or was dangerous? I agree that the policeman could have handled things better but he shouldn't necessarily be fired.

A Manchester police officer admitted to punching a 12-year-old boy in the face -- in self-defense! That would be funny if it weren't so sad. There's no reason for a big cop to attack a kid that way, even if the kid committed a crime.

Three people were wounded when a gunman opened fire at a community college in Phoenix, Arizona. School shootings make me so upset -- I mean, we already have so much fear and violence in our lives already. Should we have to be afraid at school too??

Whoaaa, three 14 year olds got arrested for holding up a jewelry store, with KNIVES. OMG kids today! The sad thing is I wasn't even that surprised when I read about it. I've heard way, way worse :(

Three 14-year-old Hong Kong teens -- two boys and a girl -- were arrested for holding up a jewelry store, using knives. They were sentenced to 3 years in prison. Dang. Isn't that a lot? Sometimes kids make mistakes. Like, really, REALLY big mistakes.
