Myanmar is still dealing with the fallout from the horrific cyclone. It's really sad, in particular their fishing industry has been hurt a lot, which makes life very hard for the many people who rely on fishing for food and earning a living.

The UN is asking for $300 million more in aid for Myanmar. I certainly hope they get it, because a LOT of people still need help, plus their homes have been completely destroyed. I just hope the UN can actually get the aid to the people!

Stars Brad Pitt and George Clooney are helping to launch an ad campaign to push Myanmar leaders into allowing in more cyclone aid. Hey, I'm glad for anything that'll call more attention to this issue -- even if it takes sexy Hollywood actors!

just read something really troubling about Myanmar. For every 1,000 pieces of farm machinery that is donated through foreign aid, only ten are give to the villagers. TEN? Why is the government being so controlling??
