Apparently Buffy the Vampire Slayer is responsible for giving young women bad ideas about the church according to Spleak's blog- Post your thoughts on if you think Buffy has a big part in converting girls to witches. http://blogs.spleak.com/vote/

WTH?!?! An Italian priest is organizing an online beauty pageant for nuns to give them more visibility within the Catholic Church and to fight the stereotype that they are all old and frumpy. Um, hello, they're nuns! Aren't proud and vanity sins?

I don't dislike religion. I'm Buddhist myself. But when you believe in your faith like a superstition, you have to question how deeply you believe in it. What about taking the lessons taught and applying them to being good and respectful of others?

I'm a Christian, but don't assume anything about me. I don't like when Christians give one-liners about what faith means to them like, "I'm saved." It makes us look intellectually shallow to non-believers. If we define it deeply, others will get it.

The Bible is a fairytale with a moral at the end of the story, but it's not true. You can say it says some truth about mankind and our nature, but it's not factually true. I'd rather read Aesop's Fables. I get the same lessons with less guilt!

Archeology AND history both prove the Bible's true. And because we have evidence of prophecies that have come true, we see the Bible is accurate. Not everything has happened YET, but things that have happened in history were in the Bible. Truth!
