20 years ago a woman threw a message in a bottle out to sea. It ended up in Ireland, and the finder returned it in person to the woman, who now encourages her kids to throw bottles into the sea. That never gets old for the beach clean up crew.

Beijing played Zeus last week when it shot rain rockets to get clouds to burst before the Opening Ceremonies. Called cloud seeding, it's a way of controlloing the weather. By making it rain, it means it won’t occur where it was supposed to naturally.

Greenpeace revealed electronics companies are dumping their toxic waste in Africa! It's very shocking and unfair because there are supposed to be laws against that -- and how awful is it that the chemicals from rich countries are poisoning the poor?

Nature is crazy thing! Oysters in France are being wiped out a herpes virus!!! This affects us all because all species are interconnected! Plus I’m sure the French are extra-sad that they don't get as many oysters to eat ;)

The smog in Beijing has been worrying athletes. But the UK women's field hockey team has a fix -- RED contact lenses!!! It'll help them see the ball through the smog and reduce squinting. Not to mention they'll look like they're in a vampire movie ;)

Brighton is allowing sheep to graze in parks on the outskirts of the city, as a cheap way of managing the grass. They're also recruiting volunteer "shepherds" for those of you who love sheep. LOL it's okay, they don't bite!
