I think that Martin Cullen's opinion on white people racing is very nieve. Did it ever occur to him that maybe the Irish athletes just aren’t training as hard as their counterparts? I'm sure a white sprinter will eventually break 10 seconds.

In respose to the fact that no white person has ever broken the 10 second mark in the hundred meters, Irish Sports minister Martin Cullen said, "Obviously, unless you're black and African you're not going to do well in sprint or middle distance."

Have you seen the picture yet of the Cuban taekwondo guy kicking the ref in the face? It is so crazy! The guy got banned from the Olympics for life, and he totally deserved it. Check out the picture right here ------> http://blogs.spleak.com/sport/

I don’t know why everyone keeps arguing over who did better between China and the U.S.A., if you look at the # of people vs the # of medals, the UK beat them both. However, we are modest and not arrogant so we don’t brag about it like the Americans!

It's always sad to hear stories about Olympians who lose their cool and do something stupid. The Cuban guy who kicked the ref is an idiot. At least that Swedish wrestler who didn't agree protested non-violently by throwing his medal back.

I think it is a little unfair to compare China's games with London's. China has spent over $40 billion dollars preparing, and we all know London wont spend anywhere near that. Due to the size of England, they can't come close in the medal count.
