On the eve of his hopeful return to the Red Sox line-up, David Ortiz claims he is hearing a click in his wrist. This is definitely not the news Sox fans were looking for in the wake of losing Manny Ramirez, their only other imposing power hitter.

Reports say he could be back by July 25 in a game against the Yankees. Fingers crossed that it doesn't take him a while to get in the groove. Against the Yanks, we'll need him being balls to teh wall Papi ASAP.

Big Papi had his cast removed from his busted wrist yesterday, which is good news for Red Sox fans hoping for his return. At one point doctor's thought he might miss the entire season, so his speedy recovery is coming as quite a surprise.
