Beckham is still on the English national team, as far as I know, but word on the street is that Gerrard is going to be captain for the forseeable future, and Rio Ferdinand is the heir apparent. Poor Becks is probably butt hurt cuz he isn't captain.

David Beckham should never have come to America. He is much too talented to be wasting his time in the colonies with a bunch of second rate poofs. As one of the greatest players to ever play the game, he should be above such foolishness.

Despite how much he loves Los Angeles, Becks was inches away from joining a different club last season. Beckham announced today, "I was very close to signing for Milan." Can you imagine... Milan might actually have made champions league! HAHA!

Actor Will Smith was in Lodon, and he happened to metion that David Beckham is his new soccer coach. Smith said, "I begged him to teach me how to play and he promises he will." Hopefully when Smith fails Americans will realize soccer is not so easy.
